If you have a Lexmark Printer and your prints come out faint, incomplete, or streaked, you probably have a clogged nozzle, a common problem that many users have with Lexmark Printer.
Uncap the Lexmark printer regularly to produce an excellent image or text quality. Some printers available for industrial use include the X5075, X5650, and X9575. Each of these printers requires maintenance measures to be taken to prevent any unwanted problems. If the printed images are blurred or uneven, this could be a sign that the printhead needs to be cleaned to function properly.
Ways to Clean Printhead of Lexmark Printer
Step 1: Insert a sheet of paper into the Lexmark printer through the paper tray and the head cleaning process begins.
Step 2: Open the “Start” menu on your Windows computer. Look at the additional options and browse through the list.
Step 3: Select the “All Programs” option to access more settings for your computer system. Select the Lexmark folder that contains several specific functions for your printer. On some printer models, the installation program includes an application called “Lexmark Solution Center” that can be used to complete the troubleshooting steps.
Step 4: Click the “Maintenance” tab to access the printer cleaning settings. In a few seconds, you will be presented with an option to print a test page. Select the “Print” option and wait for the page to finish printing. The ink cartridge will automatically feed the ink through the printer head cleaning it at the same time.
Step 5: Look at the printed page to see if the colors and quality are satisfactory. If you are not completely satisfied with the finished product, repeat the printing process with another test page. As soon as the page is printed, you will immediately know if the head has been fully cleaned and is working properly.
Step 6: If you constantly have problems with print quality, replace the ink cartridge. Sometimes the head can be depleted by a huge amount of printing. You may also have problems with a generic ink cartridge, which was not manufactured by Lexmark. It is always best to use an original Lexmark ink cartridge, as it has been properly created to work with a printer of this brand.
